You can find them on my Tumblr site at Fireweedfluff@tumblr.com if you're interested. Love coming here so much<x)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01582727966630168233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432079904664551988.post-91896035900455898012014-11-20T12:37:29.159-07:002014-11-20T12:37:29.159-07:00Oh, yes, the beauty of the old books is the poetry...Oh, yes, the beauty of the old books is the poetry and special stories, the lovely covers AND the old book smell! Somebody, somewhere, sometime will undoubtedly collect the extra poems and stories and miscellany—perhaps it will be Fantagraphics?Thomas Haller Buchananhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09278003392092477845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432079904664551988.post-44982636188846338932014-11-20T09:24:29.938-07:002014-11-20T09:24:29.938-07:00I thought that might be the case. The old Simon and Shusters are lovely to have, but they skip major batches of strips—not necessarily printing the best ones, but the ones that tell somewhat of a story. Sometimes Kelly would draw new panels for the books to segue between the gaps. The new Fantagraphics books are a must have, not omitting any dailies, but eSPECIALly because of the Sunday strips in color in entirety! Some people have complained a bit about the color, but not me. I LOVE the current Fantagraphics! They should be in any Pogo fan's library!Thomas Haller Buchananhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09278003392092477845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432079904664551988.post-55190239592641910402014-11-16T19:25:46.646-07:002014-11-16T19:25:46.646-07:00I have a general Pogo question. My suspicion is that I need to get both because there's stuff in one that isn't in the other. I'm not quite sure how the old paperbacks worked. Are they basically a "best of" from a given run of strips?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16459256492389300615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432079904664551988.post-5568783868942152722014-11-10T15:40:47.488-07:002014-11-10T15:40:47.488-07:00Ah, so good to see Alabaster get some screen-time....Ah, so good to see Alabaster get some screen-time.
