Hmmm... "I'll make you eat them words" is usually used as a reply to an insult (meaning "I'll make you take that back"). It doesn't go well with "You better mean that, or...." Either Miz Beaver is a tad confused or else I am.
Mebbe "You better mean that or I'll make you sorry you pretended to"??
That was Mr. Beaver's name? (I must of forgotten, seein' as I've read this before.) Then is there some story of the fall of Bastille?
