Tongue-Grabbin' Goodness

Shet ma mouf, lookit what a bored alligator tad by name of Alimentary has done did with his Photoshop thingie—he reassembled the portrait oriented recent strip into the landscape oriented format by inserting the 'extra' panel from an original art scan, that he colorized to fit right in.

Very nice Alimentary! To quote from you directly: "Enjoy that tongue-grabbin' goodness".

  2. Wow, gosh, I wasn't expecting such lauding to the point where the usual Sunday posting schedule was usurped. Thank you, Thomas.

Funny thing is, I was coming over to report on the thing I was working all day on, and that I could use some help to locate a few things to strengthen this up.

What we have here is a 1942-1971 30-panel exploration of the evolution of Albert:

It's pretty educational as it is, but some of them are a little weak though and I could use some alternatives. The ones that aren't full-body shots of him and aren't full color are the ones that are begging for replacement, so if anyone has some suggestions and can post links fair-grade images of Albert from those years, I would be grateful. I will post a revision once I have good enough. '56, '58, '59, '60, and '62 are most wanted.

  3. Oops, here's a direct link - the other one may be problematic because it loads a clumsy java viewer:

    Sorry about that.

  4. Hm, should have noted 1957 probably needs to be replaced as well. Escaped my quick survey there.
