Amazement
Just for the sake of amazement, I want to show 3 sample raw scans (the rest of them are just as damaged) of what Yoc had to start with, in restoring life & readability for the #14 issue of Peter Wheat:

I certainly appreciate the chance to see the “before” and “after” on these pages.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say about the"befores" is OOG! But isn't it amazing what exists below the surface, waiting all these years to be excavated!
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I deserve that much credit for seeing the "potential" of this issue. At best, I've seen just how rare and good the series is in general. Mostly I was just hoping for better interiors than the cover, which didn't pan out. I can't thank Yoc and Thom enough for their recovery work!
