So Kelly

Alright! As mentioned a mere less than a fortnight ago, here we go — a fairly good scan of Kelly's give-away rendering of a Disney circus, circa 1947. The mild gags and characterizations are so Kelly.

    What a wonderful piece! It's amazing just how playful- and happy- the characters look in Kelly's hands.

    Kelly's Huey Dewey & Louie have so much personality...they're always a joy to look at. And the expression on Happy Dwarf is very much like something one might see on Howland Owl (perhaps the resemblance is in the jowls...?). Beautiful piece!
