Woosh, what I don't go through sometimes. This particular strip was in a bad way, with bad registration, ink smears from the printer plates being dirty, and excessive bleed from the other side because of too much ink penetration. The pressmen were really sloppy on this one. But it's no fun reading Pogo like that, so here ya go:

and a pleasant (Kelly-)Sunday to you, Thom !
ReplyDeleteHaving seen a number of comics reproductions (not only on the net, but also in books for sale) I sure can appreciate what you are doing for the community and I would assume that others also would like to thank you for the amount of time and work you put into your blog...
For my part: A simple but heartfelt THANK YOU, Thom!

I love the finished Pogo--we can only guess the work you do on these-thanks again & again--charlie
ReplyDeleteYes, let me add my thanks for all your hard work. Pogo deserves to be as beautiful as it can be.
ReplyDelete...apprehensive....
ReplyDeletejust hope your 'disgustipation' as expressed in your other blog will not negatively influence your dedication to Whirled of Kelly.

Hun, I'm not sure what to do. At this point, Blogger is taking all the fun out of the blogging process. I won't break off immediately, but I've got to think this out for the long run. I've still gots lots o' Kelly stuff, but the work needs to be like fun, not like (ugh) work.
ReplyDeleteThom,
ReplyDeletesorry to see you in such a quandary.
Whirled of Kelly has been lots of joy for us freeloading users, that I am sure all of us would love it continue at the same rate as up to now.
But then I'm also sure that all of us are adult enough to understand that real life (meaning breadwinning) always has to take precedence to fun (even more if the 'fun' turns out to be (ugh!) work.
