    The book _Deck Us All With Boston Charlie_ where these strips are collected is a larger format than the older collections of daily strips (from _Pogo_ 1951 to _Beau Pogo_). As a result some of the panels are expanded horizontally to fill the page. In this case there are leaves on both sides of Albert's balloon in panel 3 and some grass and a leafy tree branch extending the right side of panel 4 -- also some squiggly modifications of panel borders. (I don't see a way to include images in comments here, unlike Facebook.)
