    Hun, so many Pogo strips are enticing to compare and contrast to today's world affairs, even after more than half a century. Please don't hesitate to comment on any of that sort of thing!

    I was surprised when Kelly got political during LBJ (The Loan Arranger) and on through Nixon and some of Carter, but I was delighted at the visual and verbal puns. I don't know of anyone who comes close to his skills and wit. And since politics is such an enticing activity for grifters and con artists, Kelly's work becomes timeless.

    And heartwarming.
