Onward with the morphing of this arc (we can tell it's a morph, cuz Churchy is still in his knight regalia).
Other than noting that only one little area recognizes Albert's yellow belly, and that his tongue is pale white, no color notes this time . . . I said other than that.
One of the things I love about Kelly Sunday pages in particular is the amount of energy he was able to pack into the background. This is a great example of a simple word play conversation in the foreground with really hilarious action bursting out behind. The Pup Dog chase leaping over the log is just too funny.
J.P.—I keep thinking that a lot of Kelly's slapstick panels reflect the Keystone Kops and vaudeville stage routines—something he would have seen plenty of in his early days.
My name is Thom Buchanan.
I'm an artist and photographer.
People are my favorite subjects to portray in art and photos. My wife (and studio partner) has called that my 'people skills', as I've been passionately creating portrait studies for many years.
I refer to myself as a pictorialist, a combination of image-making and journalist. Images are my life.
