Another beauty from 1950, that is also in the new Fantagraphics collection, but is scanned from DJ David B.'s wonderful collection.

    Tom,

    There definitely seems to have been a lot more old-style slapstick in these early Sundays than there would be later on. Can you recall a scene like the third from last panel, in which a character almost knocks another character down with his voice, in one of the late Sundays?
