    welcome back among the living; you have no idea how much I've missed you.
    Such a wonderful surprise to find this entry when performing my routine weekly Sunday check.
    Maybe an additional Thanksgiving celebration should be instituted.

    Probably not many of us old geezers around who might remember the original Pogo publication in 1968... the second half refers to Johnson's record budget proposal of 186 bn$; would be just peanuts these days...

      Yes, life seems so different from '68, and yet painfully similar.
