    Were the words after "minding his own business" just as illegible in the original footnote as they are in this scan? I'm guessing they probably were (by Kelly's intention), unless maybe it continued "when all over sudden" before becoming completely undeciperabobble.

      Undeciperabobble by intent, even crawling up the side of the panel, makes it the best footnote ever in my book! I think Kelly had the most fun as cartoonist than any other!
