Yay, it's a landslide! Continuity wins! If only all voting could be this simple and dignified! As a bonus feature, I'll try posting these fill-ins every couple of days for a while, so as to hurry back to vintage newspaper tear sheets!
Pogophiles are great people! LLK!

Albert is getting to be like the old lady who swallowed a fly in the children's song....
ReplyDelete(For non-English-speakers who may not know American children's songs: in later verses the old lady swallowed a spider to catch the fly, swallowed a bird to catch the spider, etc. etc.)
Oops, I don't mean non-English-speakers, I mean people who learned English in later life and missed the children's songs. Just as I was puzzled, when learning French, by a reference to "Mere Michel qui a perdu son chat," until my French teacher pointed me to the French song on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I didn't know Porkypine had a nephew! I knew about his Uncle Baldwin of course.
I have a sneaky suspicion that people who post Pogo on their blogs are great people (if my statistical sample size of 1 is any indication).
